| Welcome to the website of the Earl Rivers Regiment. The Regiment is part of the Palatine’s Tertio of The Sealed Knot Society, (SK) being part of the largest re-enactment Society in Europe we travel all over the U.K, with thousands of others, to re-enact the English Civil War. This website shows what our Regiment gets involved in at Sealed Knot and our own Events.
The modern regiment has been active in the Thames Valley area for over 35 years and now has members in, Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire, with large numbers of members in Newbury, Reading and Wallingford.
The Regiment regularly gets together throughout the year to hold events in Newbury, Berkshire, this can range from mini battles, skirmishes, Living History events and school visits. At the beginning and at the end of the year we visit our ancestral home of Donnington Castle near Newbury for training, recruiting, meetings or just socialising.
